林義峰博士2003年7月畢業中原大學化學工程學系,2008年取得清華大學化工所博士學位,於2009年8月進入中原大學化工系從事教職之工作,2016年升等為教授,期間獲得兩次全校教學特優獎、三次年輕教授研究特優獎、中原大學發明獎與優良技轉獎、第十四屆國家新創獎、美國匹茲堡國際發明展金牌獎、德國紐倫堡國際發明展銅牌獎、台灣創新技術博覽會金牌與銀牌獎、台灣化工學會化工傑作獎與104年度第一次獲得校研究傑出獎,此年度108年度為第二次獲得校研究傑出獎的肯定。林教授亦積極參與國際研討會,多次獲大會邀請擔任演講,包含多場國際研討會議的Keynote演講與Invited演講,並擔任2020年第十六屆世界過濾會議的副主席,提升中原大學國際能見度。此外,林教授現今擔任SCI 國際期刊Journal of the Taiwan Institute of Chemical Engineers的副編輯(Associate Editor),幫忙期刊審稿事務。

林教授之研究重點在於奈米孔洞材料與孔洞薄膜之製備與應用,搭配各種製備方法,合成不同結構之奈米孔洞材料,並探討這些奈米孔洞材料於催化與環境方面之應用。申請人研究主題主要有二: (1)氣凝膠奈米孔洞材料之製備與催化及能源應用、(2)孔洞薄膜之製備與應用。研究成果共有: 多篇於該領域前12%國際SCI期刊論文發表,其中包含J. Mater. Chem. A (IF:10.73, 6/103=5.8% in Energy & Fuel category)、ChemSusChem (IF:7.80, 3/35=8.6% in Green & Sustainable Science & Technology category)、Applied Energy (IF:8.43, 5/138=3.6% in Chemical Engineering category)、Chemical Engineering Journal (IF:8.36, 6/138=4.3% in Chemical Engineering category)、J. Membr. Sci. (IF:7.02, 8/138=5.8% in Chemical Engineering category)、Nanoscale (IF:6.97, 18/148=12.16% in Physics Applied category) 、J. CO2 Utilization (IF:5.2, 11/138=7.97% in Chemical Engineering category)與Fuel (IF:5.1, 13/138=9.4% in Chemical Engineering category)等國際著名期刊,並有6篇美國與台灣發明專利與技術報告等。

此次乃林教授第二次獲得中原大學研究傑出獎,林教授認為學術研究如同馬拉松跑步ㄧ樣,是一條漫長的路,過程中會遇到許多的困難與阻礙,需強大的意志力克服,提升自我的同時,方能得到甜美的果實。若將馬拉松跑步分為前、中後期來看,研究學者於40歲以前可視為馬拉松跑步的前期、40-50歲可視為中期、50歲以後可視為後期;通常研究的創新程度會取決於國際期刊的發表速度,40歲前的研究學者多半為新進教師,屬於研究初始期,需多累積多篇國際期刊發表,以便獲得科技部計畫經費補助,方有研究經費可做研究,因此,後學鼓勵40歲前研究學者需快速累積多篇國際期刊,以量為主,對計畫與升等的業績有明顯的幫助,後學亦於此階段成功獲得第一次學校研究研出獎與升等為教授。到了研究中期(40-50歲)則可專注於研究想法非常創新,需要花較長時間才能完成的研究,此類可發表於學術聲望較高的國際期刊,然而,發表的速度可能就會較為緩慢,常常可能會於ㄧ至兩年內才能有ㄧ篇學術聲望較高國際期刊的發表,逐步提升個人研究的能量,除了質以外,此階段後學仍鼓勵兼顧國際期刊論文質與量的目的,以利獲得計畫補助與經費挹注,後學即是在研究前期的後半部與中期的前半部,逐步提升自己發表國際期刊的品質,進而獲得第二次學校研究傑出獎。到了研究後期(50歲後)研究學者以建立足夠的研究能量與聲望,此時可以轉以發表高影響力與高品質國際期刊為主,提升台灣整體研究水準。如上述所提學術研究乃是一條長遠的道路,然而,於學術研究的過程中,看到指導的學生ㄧ點一滴的成長,是最令後學感到欣慰之處。最後,此次再次獲得學校研究傑出教師獎勵,最感謝學校於研究各方面的資助,科技部計畫與經費的支持,還有個人指導過所有學生對研究的努力與付出,願將此獎勵與ㄧ路上所有幫助過我的人分享,感謝大家!!

Dr. Yi-Feng Lin obtained his Bachelor degree from Department of Chemical Engineering, Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) in 2003 and got his Ph.D. degree from Department of Chemical Engineering, National Tsing Hua University in 2008. He served as an assistant professor from Department of Chemical Engineering, CYCU in 2009 and promoted as Professor in 2016. He got some awards, such as outstanding teaching award, outstanding research award in young professor, CYCU Invention award, outstanding technology transfer award, gold award in INPEX, copper award in iENA, gold and silver award in Taiwan Innotech Expo, outstanding article in Taiwan Institute of Chemical Engineers and CYCU outstanding research award. Prof. Lin served as many keynote and invited speakers in some international conferences and also serve as co-chair in the 16th International Conference on Inorganic Membranes (ICIM). Now, he serves as the associate editor in Journal of the Taiwan Institute of Chemical Engineers.
The research areas of Prof. Lin are divided into two fields: (1) Synthesis of Nanoporous Aerogels and their applications in energy and catalytic reactions;(2) Preparation and application of porous membranes. Prof. Lin published lots of papers in top 12% category SCI journals, including J. Mater. Chem. A (IF:10.73, 6/103=5.8% in Energy & Fuel category)、ChemSusChem (IF:7.80, 3/35=8.6% in Green & Sustainable Science & Technology category)、Applied Energy (IF:8.43, 5/138=3.6% in Chemical Engineering category)、Chemical Engineering Journal (IF:8.36, 6/138=4.3% in Chemical Engineering category)、J. This is the second time for Prof. Lin to obtain CYCU outstanding research award. Prof. Lin thinks that research is like a long-way marathon. We have to overcome the difficult and barriers during the marathon to achieve our goal. Marathon can be divided into three stages, so called initial (researchers less than 40 years old), middle (researchers between 40-50 years old) and late (researchers above 50 years old) stages. In the early stage of young researchers, they are encouraged to publish more SCI papers, which is beneficial to obtain the MOST project, financial support and promote to Full Professor. Prof. Lin obtained CYCU outstanding research award for the first time in this stage. In the middle stage of researchers (40-50 years old), they are encouraged to publish not only more SCI papers but also some high quality SCI papers to increase their research energy step by step. Prof. Lin obtained his second time CYCU outstanding research award in the middle stage. At the late stage of researchers (above 50 years old), they are encouraged to publish more high quality SCI papers to increase their research energy and reputation, leading to the increase in the research level of Taiwan. At last, I appreciate CYCU, MOST financial support and also thank my students to work hard about our research. I also shared this ward to all persons who help me during my research periods.
