本工作坊以鄭詩萍老師於國科會計畫中自行研發的 CoachGPT 聊天機器人 為例,示範 AI 如何融入 EMI 教學的課程設計、評量與學習支持,解析實作流程與真實案例,並提供可複製的教學策略。實證研究顯示,CoachGPT 能有效提升學生的學習動機,並降低英文口說焦慮。AI 的即時性打破了教室的藩籬,讓學生在課堂之外延伸學習場域,持續與 AI 互動練習英文,實現 24/7 的自主學習新模式。
Have you ever thought that AI can be more than just a teaching aid—it can serve as a personal English coach for every learner?
This workshop features CoachGPT, a chatbot independently developed by Dr. Shih-Ping Cheng under a National Science and Technology Council project. It demonstrates how AI can be integrated into EMI teaching for lesson design, assessment, and learner support, providing step-by-step implementation insights, authentic cases, and replicable pedagogical strategies. Empirical findings reveal that CoachGPT effectively enhances students’ learning motivation and reduces their English-speaking anxiety. The immediacy of AI breaks the boundaries of the classroom, enabling students to extend learning beyond class, interact with AI anytime, and achieve a 24/7 self-directed learning model.
