綜觀國內外生醫技術發展之趨勢,生物醫學與醫療器材科技產業近年來成為重點發展產業,然而生技產業是需要集合人才、技術、資金、法規的高度知識密集型產業,在應用上更是需要跨領域、跨學門之不同專業背景與專才的研發人員共同參與投入。

為因應此趨勢,陳玉惠教授彙整等校內與生醫技術相關之研究開發資源,招集本校三院七個科系,(含括化學系、物理系、生物科技系、機械工程系、生物醫學工程系、電子系、環工等),於 2013年 3月規劃成立此跨領域之「生醫技術研發中心」。

成立目標為:

1.整合校內生醫相關研發技術與資源
2.建置跨領域互動平台共提特色計畫
3.促成與醫療機構及業界之產學合作
4.創造實作經驗培育生技之菁英人才
5.加強國際交流建立研發之合作機會
6.致力成為國際級生醫技術研發中心

生醫中心的研究領域分為三大面向,分別是:

B.顯微光眼系統(Micro LeyeT System)

● Lighting and waveguide

C.生醫模具技術(Molding for Biomedical Technology)

● 3D printing
● Stem cells/Regenerative medicine

中心英文簡介

Looking at the trend of biomedical technology development all over the world, the biomedical and medical device technology industry has become a key development industry in recent years. However, the biotechnology industry is a highly knowledge-intensive industry that needs to pool talents, technology, capital, and regulations. Practically, it is necessary to input of R&D personnel with various professional backgrounds and expertise from all kind of fields and cross-studies.

In response to this trend, Professor Chen Yuhui collected research and development resources related to biomedical technology in CYCU, and recruited seven departments of the three schools within CYCU (including the Department of Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering). , Electronic Department, Environmental Engineering, etc.), in March 2013, the cross-disciplinary "Biomedical Technology R&D Center" was established.

The goal is to:

1. Integrate research and development technologies and resources related to biomedical science in CYCU.
2. Build a cross-disciplinary interactive platform to propose interactive projects.
3. Promote industry-university cooperation with medical institutions and the industry
4. Create practical environment and cultivate talents of Bioscience.
5. Strengthen international exchanges and establish cooperation opportunities for research and development
6. Dedicated to becoming an international biomedical technology research and development center
